User Guide
Welcome to your Grok '26 digital path. Here's everything you need to know about using it.
What is this?
This is the Grok '26 Path — a live, interactive guide to the conference. It's your schedule, your digital badge, people directory, and way to connect with fellow grokers. Think of it as Grok's operating system.
How is this built?
This is built with PathMX, a early-stage platform for creating interactive knowledge sites.
If you're interested in contributing to this path, see Grok Scribe for more details.
How do I access my badge?
Hold the bottom of your physical badge up against the top of your phone until a link appears (there's a white NFC tag on the back). Open the link, then claim your badge to access your digital identity at Grok — it shows your name, bio, links, groups + any other badges you've scanned.
What's the NFC badge?
You'll receive a physical badge at registration. It has an NFC chip on the back (look for the small white circle). When you tap it against someone's phone (or they tap theirs against yours), it opens your digital badge and adds them as a "scanned badge." It's the fastest way to share who you are.
How do I scan someone's badge?
Hold your phone near their badge. Your phone will open their digital badge automatically — no app needed. Works on iPhone (iOS 14+) and most Android phones.
How do I edit my badge?
Tap Your Badge, then look for the edit option. You [may be able to] update your bio, links, and other details anytime during the conference.
What's the Badge Directory?
It's a list of everyone at Grok. Browse it to find people you want to connect with, or search for someone you just met. Every attendee, speaker, and organizer has a badge.
How does the schedule work?
The main page shows all three days. Each session links to its own page with more detail — the speaker, the topic, the room. Times update based on the actual flow of the conference, so check back if things shift.
What are 10/20 sessions?
These are attendee-driven sessions — the heart of the unconference. You sign up to present for 10 or 20 minutes on anything you want. The schedule shows when 10/20 rounds happen; the rooms and topics are assigned on-site. See the full 10/20 guide for how to sign up and pick a topic.
Does this work offline?
The path is a web page, so you'll need connectivity for the latest updates. But once loaded, most pages will stay cached in your browser. The venue has excellent wifi.
Who makes Grok possible?
Some really great sponsors. Check them out — and look for special offers from Pathwright and others.
What's with all the jargon?
If someone's throwing around an acronym or term you don't recognize, check the Glossary — a half-serious field guide to the stuff people say at Grok.
